'Journey' - Limited Fine Art Prints

‘Journey’

Inspired by my love of still life paintings from the Dutch Golden Age, this piece was born through the in-between moments of my own journey unfolding through various seasons of my life.

Painted with hundreds of layers of transparent watercolour over the last 10 months to form what you see here. An arrangement of peonies, morning glory, roses, artichoke, boysenberries, overflowing foliage and a butterfly to complete the arrangement.

Imperfect and joyful, it has been through the process of layering many colours with thoughtfulness, playfulness, patience and love this piece has evolved and emerged, much like I have.
My hope is that you find joy in my painting, and far more so in the colours and seasons of your own precious journey.

Great thanks to everyone who has supported me in every way, shape and form. It will forever mean more than I can express in simple words.
